Home prices declined for the second straight month in November.
The median sales price was down 5.5% from October and down 11.9% from this year’s high points in June and August.
Prices have declined in concert with the seasonal trend and less consumer demand. At the time same, last month’s price was 0.8% higher than it was this time last year.
The 11-month median price trend is up 5.6% from the first 11 months of last year, and 82.7% higher than the 2019 pre-recession benchmark.
Last month’s median price moirrored the downward arc of home sales. Like last month’s sales prices. Nov. sales were up 0.2% from November last year and up 1.7% from the 11-month sales time line last year.
