Tri-Cities Home Sales, Demand Continue Declining

By DON FENLEY

Tri-Ciities home sales declined for the third straight month in November.

Demand has been on a downward arc for seven months as the market closes to close the books on 2025. Last month’s sales were 0.2% better than they were this time last year, and 1.7% better than the first 11 months of 2024.

The current monthly average is 653 sales, the highest since 2023. They lag the 2019 pre-recession 11-month sales average of 962.

Typically the number of sales increases during the mid-month count when all of the late closings are counted.
