Tri-Cities home sales post third straight record-setting month in July

Northeast Tennessee Association President Sharon Duncan said reports of impressive employment gains and higher private sector wage have helped boost consumer confidence and the number of first-time buyers.

On Monday NETAR released its existing home sales report that showed Tri-Cities homes sales posted a second straight month of double-digit growth and the third straight month of record levels in July.

“NETAR’s analysis of the data indicates the local residential real estate market continues showing signs of health, despite some mixed signals about home prices and ownership rates and at the national level.
